Income Report – September 2019

income report september 2019

Wow, did September just zip by?

On the personal front, I started my new job. Good news, it pays better. Bad news, OMG the culture and everything else is a 180 from where I came! It was and still is an overwhelming learning curve, and hopefully things can only go up from here. I will leave total judgement for the end of 90 days, or 3 months on the job.

Anyhow, project income increment has gone well, given that I’ve just received my paycheck for the month of September, so that’s keeping me happy at the very least.

On the home front, our previous domestic helper left to go home (her husband’s business has been on the up and up, and so wants her back so she can help with his business. Really happy for her!), so we’ve got a new domestic helper on board, and our utmost concern was how the kids will take to her.

Thankfully there hasn’t been any major issues, and we’re now in the “getting to know you” phase and feeling each other out.

BUT, this is not the reason you guys drop by, so let’s get to the chase.

September was a relatively busy month, compared to the single trade in August. Closed on 7 trades for a total of $916.83 for the month across Facebook, Tesla, Netflix, and newcomer (to me) Okta.

We’re also heading into the last quarter of the year, and October will bring about the slew of Q3 earnings calls, which will be interesting to see and dissect.

All in all, I’m happy to be moving closer toward the thousands range again in this side hustle. Hopefully I can settle into a nice trading rhythm for the rest of the year.
