Another day, another positive news for the mainstream adoption for Bitcoin. 2 days after Tesla announced it had bought $1.5B worth of Bitcoin and will accept bitcoin as payment for Teslas, MasterCard has announced that it will incorporate crypto onto its network.
Bitcoin is seeing stable prices after shooting up to $48K on the Tesla news, currently sitting at around $45,000. This is during a time where historically, there’s been a CNY dump, where retail investors in Asia cash out of their crypto positions to fill “Hong Baos”.
Given that we are already at New Year’s Eve, I would think most folks would have already withdrawn their money and packed their “hong baos”, in which case, I hereby announce the CNY dip this year has been cancelled!
