My NFT holdings as of August 2021

all my NFTs
This tweet brings us to this post today, where I will unveil my ENTIRE(!) collection of NFTs, which means this will probably be a rather short post.

I will assume by now you folks know what an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is. It is basically a representation of ownership of various objects. It can be an image, a sound, a video, that can be demonstrably linked back to you, as a rightful owner of the object.

Cryptokitties

Cryptokitties was one of the first NFTs being developed on the Ethereum platform. Back then, it was so popular it regularly clogged the entire blockchain. At one point in time, it felt like nothing else was being done on the blockchain, except for people buying, selling and mating their kitties.

Of course, I got swept up in that fervour, and got myself not 1, not 2, but 8 of those cats.

Anybody want one?

Crypto Domain (also an NFT)

I am also the proud owner of my very own crypto domain from unstoppable domains. I believe in a future where digital payments will be in the form of a global currency, and that crypto domains will form a major part of the ecosystem of identity resolution and payments rail.

If anybody wants to send me free crypto, you can do so at richardtan.crypto.

Thank you very much!

Mobius Strip

This was a little silly. I wanted to know more about NFTs, and wanted to find an interesting piece of erm… art.

So I was browsing around when I came across this mobius strip. It symbolises continuity within a finite entity, and also featured heavily in allowing Tony Stark to finesse the ability to travel back in time in Avengers Endgame.

To me, it also symbolises the unlimited upside in value within a very hard-capped supply for Bitcoin. So I bought it.

Spiderman

I managed to get a rare NFT of Spider-Man, the first ever NFT collection by Marvel. I actually wrote a whole post about it, so you can read it there.

Free NFT from Enjin

Enjin, in promoting their platform, decided to hold an NFT drop, and I managed to get my hands on one of them.

This is the one. I don’t really get it… but OK. Free is free.

And who knows, if dumb rocks can fetch $100,000 and more, maybe this will too, one day.

So, there you go, my eclectic NFT collection. I don’t think any of these will make me any amount of material riches, but one can dream, right?

After all, what’s a man without dreams and purpose?

Do you hold any NFTs? Share your collection in the comments!
